Saxophonist and woodwind artist Vicki Watson, based in Wiltshire, has carved out a thriving career by enchanting audiences with her uplifting and joyful music. Known for her infectious smile and dynamic energy, she’s a favourite whether delivering high-energy Ibiza club classics, dance anthems, or mellow, chilled-out grooves. Transcending classical and jazz roots, Vicki seamlessly integrates her dynamic range, melodic sensibility, and improvisational skills into the house music scene. Her signature sound combines soaring melodies, rhythmic riffs, and freestyle flourishes, characterised by boldness, directness, and spirited tonal warmth.
When not immersed in Ibiza-style club performances or jazz ensemble projects, Vicki takes on the role of saxophonist for The House Iguanas, a Latin-infused house music trio, and serves as the musical director and lead alto for the Watson & Brown Little Big Band.
Recent highlights in Vicki’s career include residencies at Hurawalhi in the Maldives, performances at prestigious venues like the Gherkin and the Globe Theatre in London, Coworth Park, the Ageas Bowl Stadium, and Wilderness Festival. She boasts over 150 annual private event performances, contributing to various studio recordings and sessions for albums, films, and gaming projects.
Beyond her live performances, Vicki is an electronic music producer and recording artist known as Electro Mama. Under this pseudonym, she fuses live clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophones, and flute with percussion, music technology, and sampling. Her latest release, the EP ‘Polaroid,’ is already making waves, and she’s currently immersed in her upcoming project, ‘Synesthesia.’
