Can I hire mul­ti­ple acts?

Yes, you can book as many acts as you would like for your event. Our team will be on hand through­out the book­ing phase to ensure that all the logis­tics and tim­ings work for you and how you would like your day to run, and make sure that every­thing is com­mu­ni­cat­ed between all the acts and the venue to make sure it all runs smooth­ly on the day.

Can you work at my venue?

Yes! We can work at every venue all over the UK. We work close­ly with venues and adjust our line­ups and tech­ni­cal spec to fit each space. We are used to work­ing with sound lim­iters and live music restric­tions too.

We also work with sev­er­al of the top Lon­don agen­cies where they are rec­om­mend­ed sup­pli­ers and we are not. So no mat­ter where you are hav­ing your event, we can sort it for you.

Can I see the act before I book?

This can be tricky as most of our acts are booked on pri­vate events rather than pub­lic ones. From time to time our acts do have pub­lic per­for­mances where you can go and see them, so talk to us about the act you are inter­est­ed in and we can check their diary and see if they have any pub­lic per­for­mances in the near future you can attend.

I can’t find what I am look­ing for, can you help?

Of course we can. At our foun­da­tion, we are musi­cians and there­fore all our friends, col­leagues, and peers are our net­work of per­form­ers. This means that we have access to some bril­liant acts of all styles and gen­res. Let us know what you are look­ing for and we’ll source it for you.

How many acts do you book on each date?

We don’t lim­it our­selves to the num­ber of book­ings we take on each date. But we only send one line up of a band out on each. So if all our bands are booked out, we won’t book them again and dou­ble up. We believe in qual­i­ty and not quantity!

How do I book?

We keep it sim­ple. Tell us what act(s) you would like to book and we sort the rest. We’ll cre­ate your con­tract and upload this to our spe­cial­ist client por­tal where you can view and sign your con­tract. Once you have done this we issue the acts with their con­tracts and every­thing is booked in for the date.

Is there a book­ing fee?

We do require a book­ing pay­ment to secure your book­ing. This will all be out­lined in your invoice, and you will have a unique client num­ber to use for all pay­ment ref­er­ences so that every­thing can be tracked. The book­ing fee amount will depend on the total cost of your book­ing but is usu­al­ly 25% of the total cost.

When will my bal­ance be due?

Your bal­ance pay­ment must be received and cleared at least 14 days before your event date. Don’t wor­ry, we will send you a reminder at least a month before.

Will I have a contract?

Every event, no mat­ter how big or small, has an agree­ment put in place between client and GECKO Live. This will out­line every­thing that your book­ing con­tains down to the arrival time of the act(s) and their per­for­mance details.

How far in advance should I book my entertainment?

We are work­ing on a 3‑year advance cal­en­dar. So if there is some­thing that you love, we high­ly rec­om­mend you get it booked in and secured for your date. Our most pop­u­lar acts such as The Strolling Tones, are book­ing well over 2 years in advance.
