The Firewood Four, an enchanting folk band from Devon, bring a blend of tradition and originality that’s perfect for weddings and events. Their music weaves together the warmth of traditional folk melodies with their own captivating songwriting.

With a lineup featuring concertina, harmonium, cittern, stomp box, acoustic guitar, and banjo, their instrumental prowess adds depth to their performances. What truly sets them apart are their beautifully intertwined vocal harmonies that lend a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere, making them an ideal choice for weddings and special occasions.

The Firewood Four have received accolades from Folkwords magazine, and their debut album Cutthorpe Hill’ marked the beginning of their musical journey. Their dedication to their craft is evident in their hard work, having performed an average of over 100 gigs a year between 2014 and 2019. This experience ensures that they can adapt to a wide range of settings and preferences, making them a versatile and reliable choice for any event.

In addition to their musical endeavors, The Firewood Four have shared their expertise by leading the folk course at the renowned Dartington Summer School in 2018 and 2019. This highlights their commitment to nurturing the folk music community and sharing their passion with others.

Their international tours, including performances at venues as diverse as supermarkets and ancient churches, showcase their ability to adapt to different environments while maintaining their authenticity. Whether it’s a romantic wedding setting or a lively event, The Firewood Four have the talent and experience to create an atmosphere that resonates deeply with audiences.
