Two Step

Recent­ly described by Deb­o­rah Mead­en (BBC’s Drag­ons’ Den) as ​“excep­tion­al”, Two Step are a sen­sa­tion­al 6- to 18-piece func­tion band. They have a rep­u­ta­tion as one of the most flex­i­ble par­ty bands in the UK – start­ing the evening with up-tem­po jive and swing num­bers to get audi­ences of all ages on the dance­floor, before mov­ing on to pop, Motown and soul music to keep you there all night.

Two Step have been per­form­ing up and down the coun­try for 15 years, and are one of the most in-demand func­tion bands in the UK today. Pre­vi­ous clients include Fer­rari, BMW, Sony, Bent­ley, Tri­umph, Vir­gin, Lindt Choco­late and E‑On and pre­vi­ous venues include Clar­idge’s Hotel, Pinewood Stu­dios, The Shard, Wem­b­ley Sta­di­um and the Nat­ur­al His­to­ry Muse­um. They have per­formed at the Eif­fel Tow­er in Paris and as far afield as Amman, Jor­dan and Mar­rakesh, Morocco.

The band plays a huge range of music from the Swing, Soul and Motown eras — and the set list is care­ful­ly planned to appeal to audi­ences of all ages, get­ting every­one on the dance floor all night long. Along­side authen­tic cov­ers of some of the best music of the 20^th Cen­tu­ry, the band can per­form their own vin­tage re-work­ings of mod­ern songs in the style of Post­mod­ern Juke­box – if you fan­cy hear­ing Crazy in Love as a 1920s Charleston, this is the band for you!

Two Step are also able to pro­vide musi­cal enter­tain­ment for oth­er parts of your event — from clas­si­cal music for your wed­ding cer­e­mo­ny to back­ground jazz music for the drinks recep­tion.
