The Vine­yard is one of Berk­shire’s most exclu­sive wed­ding venues and is per­fect­ly placed with easy access to Berk­shire, Hamp­shire, and Oxfordshire.

The Vine­yard is part of a col­lec­tion of venues in the local area and hous­es some of the Own­ers’ (Sir Peter Michaels) per­son­al art col­lec­tion. This makes the venue tru­ly unique and one of a kind.

Wed­ding cer­e­monies at The Vineyard

With your hire of The Vine­yard, you have exclu­sive use of the Cal­i­for­nia Bar and Cal­i­for­nia Suite. The Cal­i­for­nia Suite is Licensed for civ­il cer­e­monies and bless­ings and is the per­fect space for you to say ​“I Do”. Music and enter­tain­ment work bril­liant­ly in the room as there is plen­ty of space for you to have your live enter­tain­ment wher­ev­er you would like. We love using live music for your pro­ces­sion­al, sign­ing of the reg­is­ter, and pro­ces­sion­al to cel­e­brate the spe­cial moments of the day.

Eat­ing and drink­ing at The Vineyard

In the lead-up to your wed­ding day, you will have the chance to vis­it The Vine­yard and enjoy an exclu­sive menu tast­ing with the exec­u­tive chef and head som­me­li­er. This is a fan­tas­tic oppor­tu­ni­ty to see what amaz­ing food is on offer, pick your favorites from the chef’s col­lec­tion and pair each course and dish with the per­fect wines from The Vine­yard’s exten­sive cel­lar. It is also a per­fect chance to see the venue again and begin to imag­ine what it is going to look like to the day and think about how it will all come together.

Your wed­ding break­fast and din­ner will be served in The Cal­i­for­nia Suite, with your drinks recep­tion being held in the Cal­i­for­nia Bar. With it’s glass doors and glass-floored walk­way lead­ing into the bar, it is a strik­ing and beau­ti­ful space. We often sug­gest to wed­ding cou­ples to have their musi­cians from the wed­ding cer­e­mo­ny move to pro­vide music for their guests whilst they enjoy a glass of some­thing celebratory.

Live Enter­tain­ment works real­ly well for drinks recep­tions as it breaks the ice, pro­vides a bril­liant ambiance and cre­ates a relaxed and fun atmos­phere that sets up the rest of the day. Our back­ground per­form­ers, live acoustic options and mix and min­gle acts are ide­al here.

Live Music at The Vineyard

No mat­ter what evening enter­tain­ment you are look­ing for the sky is the lim­it. From DJs with live instru­ments, 4 and 5 piece Par­ty Bands, Brass ensem­bles, and stun­ning 10 piece Show­bands, every­thing works at The Vineyard.

The Cal­i­for­nia Suite is a large area and can be opened up into one open-plan space. For evening music we love hav­ing live par­ty bands and show­bands mixed with our DJ pack­ages to make sure that the dance floor is nev­er emp­ty and you have the best of live music mixed with the flex­i­bil­i­ty of a DJ.

Our top tip for choos­ing music for your wed­ding at The Vine­yard is to think about all the parts of the day indi­vid­u­al­ly and then take a look at some wed­ding pack­ages that would suit you. Make a list of your most impor­tant part of the day and if there is any spe­cif­ic music that you want at those times. For exam­ple, you might not be hav­ing a first dance, but instead, be hav­ing a big entrance song.
