Dor­ney Court stands as one of Eng­land’s most cap­ti­vat­ing hous­es, cel­e­brat­ed for its archi­tec­tur­al sig­nif­i­cance and his­tor­i­cal impor­tance, evok­ing curios­i­ty at every turn. Unchanged for six cen­turies, this rare gem, the cher­ished res­i­dence of the Palmer fam­i­ly for near­ly half a mil­len­ni­um, seam­less­ly pass­es through gen­er­a­tions. A Grade 1 list­ed build­ing, Dor­ney Court is marked for out­stand­ing archi­tec­tur­al and his­tor­i­cal dis­tinc­tion, remain­ing the endur­ing manor house of the ancient Dor­ney vil­lage, first doc­u­ment­ed in the Domes­day Book.

The Court­yard at The Coach House

Nes­tled with­in The Coach House, the seclud­ed Court­yard serves as the per­fect set­ting for evening alfres­co enter­tain­ing and gath­er­ing. Whether wel­com­ing your evening guests or indulging in evening nib­bles, cake cut­ting, and cock­tail sta­tions, this inti­mate space offers a charm­ing ambiance.

This amaz­ing space is a rein­ter­pre­ta­tion of Dor­ney Court’s Vic­to­ri­an brew­ery and the his­toric car­riage and coach hous­ing of the Palmer Fam­i­ly, offer­ing a unique blend of his­to­ry and con­tem­po­rary charm.

The barn is bathed in nat­ur­al light through four dou­ble doors that run its length, cre­at­ing a warm and invit­ing atmos­phere. Step out­side onto the love­ly York­stone ter­race, per­fect for al fres­co enter­tain­ment and cap­tur­ing the essence of your spe­cial day.

Live Music at The Coach House

Live music and the Coach House go hand in hand. Our bril­liant list of par­ty bands, DJs and artists work stun­ning­ly well to cre­ate a bril­liant evening atmos­phere and give you the night you will remem­ber for years to come. We rec­om­mend a 4, 5, or 6 piece band as these work real­ly well in the space, tak­ing up the width of one end, but not encroach­ing into the space. Our Wed­ding DJ pack­ages with LED dance­floor are a real favourite as they com­plete­ly trans­form the look of the venue and give that real par­ty atmosphere.
