ABOUT THE GUITAR DUO
The Guitar Duo started in 2020, with the sole aim of providing instrumental music for events, where the aim was to be different. The repertoire is focussed on the more fun, relaxed and silly side, not taking itself too seriously and has become the duos trademark. From Sebastien from the Little Mermaid, to Aqua to The Backstreet Boys, The Guitar Duo take songs you would never think wild work and turn them into incredible instrumental arrangements.
The Guitar Duo have worked at Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace, The Barbican, Silchester Farm, Froyle Park, RHS Wisley, Kin House, Heckfield Place, Wasing Park, Pylewell Park, Bury Court Barn and Syrencot amongst many other venues. They have a fantastic knowledge of how to get the most from your ceremony and drinks reception for weddings and how to adjust the music for corporate events for networking and brand events.
THE GUITAR DUO FOR WEDDINGS
Weddings and music go hand in hand, but The Guitar Duo believe that it should be fun. The Guitar Duo weddings are ones where they are relaxed, and chilled with guests commenting on the music and often playing games of guess the song from the introduction. The Guitar Duo is not traditional or classical, but much for fun and interactive. The duo is most often booked for wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions and have packages that suit both to a T.
DRINKS RECEPTION ONLY
Break the ice and set the tone for the day. This package covers 2 d 45 minute sets during your drink reception from the end of your ceremony until your call through to dinner.
CEREMONY & DRINKS
The duo’ most popular option, the duo perform as guests arrive and take their seats, during the ceremony for your processional, register signing and recessional, followed by 2 x45 mute sets to take you up to your wedding breakfast call. The duo will also learn and arrange 2 bespoke songs for your ceremony.
CEREMONY, DRINKS & RECORDINGS
The third package offers everything from the CEREMONY AND DRINKS options, but also comes with full recordings of the 2 songs for your ceremony which you will cherish forever. These are bespoke arrangements and professionally recorded at our studio.
